We made it through winter and Spring is in the air! With the warmer weather it’s a lot easier to get out and do some long overdue cleaning. I have folks ask me all the time what is the best way to clean security storm doors and railing. I recommend the following concoction:
- 3 cups water
- 1/2 cup white vinegar
- 1/2 cup rubbing alcohol
- 1-2 drops essential oil (I prefer lavender)
- 2-4 drops of Castile soap solution (I keep bits and pieces of Castile soap in a jar of water)
This is good for not just your door but also the glass and screens. Be sure to take the glass out of the door before you start cleaning so it’s easier to get to the nooks and crannies. After everything is cleaned and dried, finish up with a nice coat of Armor All™. Happy cleaning!
