Our client was looking to replace her old Anderson windows with a durable window that was energy efficient. Some of her current windows had fogged up due to seal failure. She also wanted a window that could help protect her wood floors from the sun. Street noise was also a problem. We recommended Provia’s Endure line because their windows are Energy Star compliant. They have a transferable life-time warranty against seal failure and glass breakage. We helped protect her floors by applying a UV coat to the window glass to reduce sun exposure. To cut down on noise, we recommended a double pane, thicker glass unit. Also, we helped her solve what she felt was a “busy” looking window by reducing the number grids in each sash from 12 to 9. “I can really feel the difference temperature wise in the house and I don’t hear the road noise like I did before.
