Did you know that there is a code requirement for windows and doors? There is a set of International Codes published by the International Code Council that provides a model for US construction codes and is used by all 50 states. In the US, the standard width of exterior doors 36-inches wide. What do you do when you have an entry door that is 6 inches wider than normal?
